About Us

The Saw Shop was born in 2016 when Charlie and Justin, a father and son team who between them have over 50 years in the sawmill and logging industry, realized the New England area needed a facility to service the needs of sawmills and loggers. Charlie and Justin soon perfected the art of hammering saws through the guidance and expertise of some of New England's best. Fast forward to 2022 and this has become a full family run business. Charlie's daughter Jill has taken on the responsibility of keeping the books.  He enlisted the help of his son-in-law Tom because the hammering business continues to grow. Tom has been learning the art of hammering and general saw repairs by working directly with Charlie.  The Saw Shop has proven itself worthy enough to be an Authorized Simonds inserted tooth saw blades dealer, and they have many satisfied customers to support their success.
